I have always been an overachiever.
I grew up with limited resources and extreme challenges so I had to work hard to become successful.
I thought if I worked hard enough I can achieve growth and success.
No pain, no gain right?
Well, not really.
Working harder doesn’t always help you grow. In fact, if you try to brute-force your way through challenging tasks it’s only a matter of time before you are completely burnt out.
I was working 80 hours a week yet I was not even close to where I wanted to be. More importantly, I was not feeling fulfilled.
After years of trial and error, going to many seminars, investing time and money working with coaches, attending personal growth events, and taking classes from experts, I began to grasp how and when we grow.
Growth happens when we are crystal clear with our goals and take consistent action through strategic planning.
Growth and success come in a peaceful way when we are in flow.
This is why all successful athletes talk about being in flow to reach their goals.
It’s not a matter of brute-force hard work but rather of determination, consistency, and being strategic.

I have coached corporate leaders, athletes, and many entrepreneurs and one of the most positive pieces of feedback I get from people is how their mindset shifted from beating themselves up for future results to a state of peace and fulfillment.
This realization is permanent and it is the source of true empowerment.
